Club Boats for Hire
Datchet Water Sailing Club has a number of club boats available for hire from 1st March to 31st Oct. Wetsuits, buoyancy aids and spray tops are also available.
To hire club boats all user must have:
- Current membership at DWSC.
- Appropriate experience for the conditions and equipment being hired, this will be at the discretion of the Sailing Manager or Senior Instructor in charge on the day of hire.
- Completed the induction process.
- Signed the declaration and agreed to the terms & conditions of hire.
A £50 deposit will be collected at the time of your first booking and will be refunded at the end of the year, provided all boats are returned in satisfactory condition. Club boats cannot be used when the wind is gusting more than 20 knots.

Hartley Alpha Oppies and H10
Oppies and H10's are a fantastic starting boat for beginners and for those wanting to build their confidence through the early stages of sailing. They are also a phenomenal trainer for experienced racers.
Type Small Junior Dinghy

Topper
The Topper is another excellent training boat and one of the most successful Junior Racing classes. These boats regularly race at DWSC and our fleet allows for young racers to get that all-important practice in.
Type Single-handed dinghy, although can take 2. Suitable for juniors & smaller adults
Skills Needed- RYA Stage 3 / Level 2 or equivalent experience.

RS Feva
The RS Feva is the perfect balance between performance and stability with an optional spinnaker.
Type Double-handed dinghy, suitable for juniors & parent/child crews.
Skills Needed- RYA Stage 4 / Level 2 or equivalent experience.

Laser
The Laser is the most popular sailing dinghy ever made and is a fantastic boat for Youth and Adults. Standard rig, Radial Rigs & 4.7 rigs all available.
Type Single-handed dinghy, suitable for youth & adult sailors.
Skills Needed- RYA Stage 4 / Level 2 or equivalent experience.

Wayfarer
The Wayfarer is a classic family-friendly dinghy. With lots of space and fantastic stability, this is a great boat to go cruising in.
Type Double-handed dinghy can carry up to 6 people.
Skills Needed- RYA Level 2 / equivalent experience.

The Laser Z420 is a great all-round boat, used for team racing at DWSC and available to hire.

Fusions
Come meet our brand-new boats! The colourful Fusion is a comfortable, stable, perfect boat for practice and leisure sailing. Optional gib if kids would like to double up!

Picos
Picos: A well-loved boat the world around, this is a great practice boat for adults and kids alike- kids can even double up! An accessible and fun boat.

Stand Up Paddle Boards
Stand Up Paddleboarding is an easily accessible and fun way to get on the water. Our inflatable fanatic boards are a great way to have a go for the first time, practice your skills or just enjoy the views of Windsor Castle.

Power Boat Hire
Powerboats are available to hire by members and by external training/ events. as a coach or safety boats only. Fuel is included in the cost of hire. **Please be aware that powered craft for hire can be up to 50hp and 5 meters in length with a value up to £25,000. Please confirm that your insurers have included this for each and every boat you wish to hire**
