Summer Holiday Week 1 » RYA Stage 1 - FULL

A learn to sail course for juniors who have no previous sailing experience/ have not done any RYA courses before. This course follows the RYA Youth Sailing Syllabus working towards Stage 1.

They will learn how to rig, launch, land and steer their boat, basic boat handling, ropework, water confidence and will gain an understanding of the basic principles of sailing. Teaching takes place on the water, on land and in the classroom depending on the group and weather conditions to meet the requirements of the course.

The Youth Sailing Scheme logbook is included in the course price. The certificate will also be included if the course is successfully completed. Boat, wetsuit, spray top & buoyancy aid hire is also included.

Pre-course requirements: No prior experience required, age 7 to 15.
